Heavy Metal Content Screening in Leaves and Flowers of Hypericum origanifolium Willd. by Atomic Absorption Spectrometry

نویسندگان

چکیده

Atomic absorption spectrometry facilitates the reliable determination of mineral content during pharmaceutical quality control medicinal plants. In present work, measurable amounts Fe, Ca, Cu, K, Mg, Mn, Na and Zn were detected in leaves flowers Hypericum origanifolium Willd. through atomic spectrometry. Mean heavy metal H. was, descending order, Ca > Mg K Fe. was higher concentrations (11157.24 ppm) (20132.24 titled plant. Our results reveal that are less suitable as target plant parts for accumulation than leaves.

Extraction and Determination of Heavy Metals Using Silver Coated Magnetic Nanoparticles and Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrometry

A rapid, simple and sensitive magnetic solid phase extraction (MSPE) method was developed for the pre-concentration and determination of copper and cadmium ions. In this study, modified Fe3O4@Ag nanoparticles were synthesized and then ligand 2-isonicotinoyl hydrazine carbodithiolate (ITHCDT) was bonded to silver due to the formation of covalent bond of S-Ag. In this method, copper and cadmium i...

Determination of Aluminum in Dialysis Concentrates by Atomic Absorption Spectrometry after Coprecipitation with Lanthanum Phosphate

This method was developed for the determination of trace amounts of aluminum(III) in dialysis concentrates using atomic absorption spectrometry after coprecipitation with lanthanum phosfate. The analytical parameters that influenced the quantitave coprecipitation of analyte including amount of lanthanum, amount of phosfate, pH and duration time were optimized. The % recoveries of the analyte io...

Determination of lead and cadmium in water samples by cloud point extraction prior to flame atomic absorption spectrometry determination

Pb and Cd in water samples were determined by cloud point extraction (CPE) with sodiumdiethyldithiocarbamate (DDTC) as the chelating agent and octylphenoxypolyethanl (Triton X-114) asthe surfactant prior to flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS) determination. The main factorsof affecting the extraction and detection processes were optimized. The preconcentration of 10 mL ofstandard soluti...
